Malang- Masjid Raya An-Nur at State Polytechnic of Malang provides takjil and iftar dishes for students and the public. This activity is a routine activity that is carried out every Ramadan.
Students and public who come to the Raya An-Nur mosque just before breaking the fast will receive free takjil and iftar menus.
They only need to take the coupon along with the takjil and mineral water provided to be exchanged for the iftar menu.
The takjil given are very diverse every day. There are must-have dates, gorengan, pudding etc.

The iftar menu is also always different every day. Fried chicken and vegetables, satay, krawu, rawon and others. This iftar menu can be enjoyed by the participants after getting a coupon and exchanging it.
Participants can get coupons and takjil around 5 pm then they can wait in the mosque by doing useful activities such as Tadarus.
Then when the adzan begin, the tajil can be eaten immediately and continued with the maghrib prayer together.
Coupon exchange can be done after maghrib prayer. Coupons were given to the committee and then replaced with the iftar menu that was already available.
Most of the participants at the An-Nur mosque are Polynema students. Many of them eat the iftar menu directly at the An-Nur mosque or can be brought to their boarding house.
This free iftar activity is a charity activity carried out by the Raya An-Nur mosque and assisted by the Polinema Student Organization, namely Rispol (kerohanian islam Politeknik)
Several members of Rispol became the committee in this special activity. They become the committee for distributing coupons and distributing the iftar menu or as leaders of Tadarus in the mosque.
This activity was initiated by takmil masrai, the administrators of the Raya An-Nur mosque and supported by Rispol by becoming a committee at this annual event, said Rika Tri Handayani, one of the committee.
The Iftar menu quota is quite a lot, which is around 30 to 95 rice boxes depending on the number of participants and the day.
"On Saturday or Sunday it's around 30 to 40, but on Monday to Friday it's usually around 60-95," added Rika who is a member of Rispol and an Accounting study program student.

Every day the iftar menu or usually rise boxes always runs out. Meanwhile, if there is leftover food, it will be taken by the some people who do Salat tarawih in the mosque.
But if the rice boxes run out, the participants will be given the rest of the takjil which is usually in pudding or dawet. If the rest of the takjil also runs out, then participants cannot get anything if they don't have a coupon.
For the source budget for this Ramadan activity, it comes from open donations or using charity money from the mosque. Then have a partnership with Catering to buy the foods.
Free iftar activity is being held in Ramadan, this free program is also held every Monday and Thursday in a normal month. For Polinema students with this special activity, they feel very helpful
and very useful.
An-Nur Raya Mosque is a Raya mosque located on the State Polytechnic of Malang campus which is usually used for prayers for both Polynema residents and the general public. In addition, this mosque is also a campus facility that is often used for Mentoring activities, Routine Kajian or
other Islamic activities.
