There is still much more beauty in the Labuan Bajo Islands that can satisfy the eye that sees. For those of you who have a hobby of photography, you can visit Padar Island. Padar Island is an island surrounded by hills showing a gradating blue sea as a background for these islands. Apart from that, there is also the Peak of Kelor Island and Pink Beach or what is known as the Red Beach by local people. The red colour on this beach actually comes from microscopic animals and reddish coral fragments around the coast.
Routes that can be passed in Labuan Bajo can be accessed by land, sea and air. The beauty of Komodo Island with its rich local culture and exotic islands around it make Labuan Bajo a potential and crowded tourist spot.

Hand knitting with the help of simple tools creates a product that is the hallmark of Labuan Bajo. The product is named Songke with a unique color pattern. There are several songke motifs that you need to know about, namely: Ranggong (spider) symbolizes honesty and hard work. Wela Kawu (bunga kapuk) means the relationship between humans and the natural surroundings. Wela Runu (runu flower) is symbolizes that the Manggarai people are like small flowers but are a source of beauty. Ntala (bintang) means good wishes and prayers. Ju'i (borderlines) who have a deep philosophy that everything has an end.
There are so many articles explaining that the Labuan Bajo islands are said to be closed during a pandemic. However, finally the Labuan Bajo Flores Authority Executing Body (BPOLBF) ensured that there would be no closure of tourism activities during the holding of the 42nd ASEAN Summit in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara, from 9 to 11 May 2023.
