Places You Can Visit for Takjil Hunt

In the current month of Ramadan where all Muslims try to do as much good as possible and in this month, they also fast for 30 days. When you are fasting, you are definitely looking forward to breaking the fast. While waiting to break your iftar, you will definitely like to hang out and look for delicious and cheap takjil, but for those of you who are still confused about where to buy takjil, I have a recommendation for those of you who like to hunt for takjil.

UM's South Entrance which is Busy with Takjil Hunters

The first one is at the southern entrance of Malang State University. One of the takjil hunting places that you can go to. It starts at 3, but it would be better if you come at half past 4 because at this time many sellers are already open and you will have more choices of takjil. If you are confused about where to park, don't worry because you can park at the university because the place is included in the UM area.

When you have parked your vehicle, you can go around looking for the takjil that you like. From sweet to salty, there are so many choices of takjil that you can buy. What makes this place more enjoyable is that the location of this takjil is on two roads, right and left. So you can wait for the breaking time while looking around for the takjil you want to buy. It's not too crowded here compared to Suhat, even though there are a lot of people but it doesn't make you feel cramped and you have to jostle each other. Not only that, when you go here you can listen to Islamic songs that accompany you while buying food to break the fast.

The bustling atmosphere of the Takjil Suhat Market in the Afternoon

Next is Suhat, everyone must know this place. The place is always crowded when the fasting month arrives. Located in front of Taman Krida Budaya, this location is always crowded with people looking for food to break their fast. Unlike the one at UM, the takjil which is located at Suhat is only on the left side of the road, and because of the many people it makes the streets around this place very congested.

You can park at Taman Krida Budaya or around this location because there are many parking attendants who can look after your vehicle. Almost the same as the one at UM in Suhat, it also serves a variety of takjil, from snacks to heavy meals, even restaurants around here have opened small booths to sell their food packages at low prices. Takjil here is also cheap because you can buy food starting from Rp5,000.

That's a takjil hunting place that you can go to, if you want to stop by there it's better if you come a little earlier because of the traffic jams and you also have to find a parking space. You also have to be careful with your belongings because there are so many people there, also to prevent from unwanted things happening. However, activities such as searching for takjil are one of the moments that I really miss during the fasting month.(*)
