Malang - Just launched in December 2022, now the Malang Creative Center has opened and presented various events during Ramadan.
The Malang Creative Center is a form of contribution by the Government of Malang City through the Department of Industry and Trade Cooperatives to manage and maintain the Creative Economy ecosystem in Malang City. This 97-billion building is presented as a place for collaboration and growth between the Creative Industries and MSMEs in Malang City.
There are 17 creative industry sub-sectors that can hold events or workshops at Malang Creative Center, ranging from Architecture, Film, Photography, Crafts, Culinary, Fine Arts, Products, Applications, Games, Television & Radio, Fashion, Shows, Design, Interior, Advertising, Publishing, CDV, and Music.
Since Ramadan 2023, there have been several events held at Malang Creative Center. On the 3rd floor, there is now a Pasar Santai V event held from April 6 to 16.
In its 5th year, Pasar Santai, which was held at the Malang Creative Center with the theme #kolaserasa, now presents a Bazaar with 50 Art, Craft, and Fashion tenants, as well as 18 Food and Beverage tenants.
Various Art, Craft, and Fashion tenants presented were GloriousART, Mind Daze, SONEY, Catalis Decoration, Damai project, DREAM IN BOX, FLASK ID, iloveyousobed, Jinawi Natural, Jiwani, Labdagatic, Mimpi, Organic, NYCT, PAPILLON'S SISTERS, Sunrisestuff, Tutri Crafts, Ugly Jolly, @meldotco, Ash Scarf by Dewanti, Rumpoko x Ina Said, Begaze, C8Lavie, Cotton, Fighter, DUSTY, Ebisu, Oversized Artwear, eggforkids, Helo Helo Ngalam, Imlicht Apparel, Iyyaka Modest.
There are also Food and Beverage tenants that are currently popular in Malang City, starting from Vietcong, Bakmie Hokki, Banana Melting, By coffee Ind, Chick&Chunk, Depot Dua Legenda, dt.mlg, warungkacang_malang, Janimani, La Luna Space, Master Mao Chow, MERCADO FRESHBAR , Delima66 Krawu Rice, Roemah Kantja, Segini Malang, Seicori, Jaya Coffee Shop, to LEMBOE MEAT MLG.
Not only involved in the world of bazaars, but Pasar Santai V Malang Creative Center also held exhibitions and workshops. Starting from Kids' Classes, Bucket Hat Painting, Watercolor Painting, Handmade Soap, and Relaxing Painting Together.
On the 4th floor of the Malang Creative Center, there is also a painting exhibition. More than 30 paintings are exhibited, ranging from children's paintings, and paintings of national heroes, to abstract paintings. Paintings here can also be purchased at varying prices.
This painting exhibition was held for 10 days in commemoration of the 109th anniversary of Malang City with the theme "Creative City of the World".
The paintings on display are not only from well-known painters, but this time the event also exhibits paintings from children with special needs or disabilities.
The paintings on display have varied characteristics. There are paintings that only use one color, and there are also abstract paintings that use many colors.
In addition to themes and characteristics, the media used are also very varied, ranging from drawing using oil paints and using watercolors that we often encounter in general. At this event, there were also those who painted using red and black pens, and using the remaining grated coconut.
The Mayor of Malang City Drs. H. Sutiaji also attended the opening of a painting exhibition at the Malang Creative Center. The Mayor apparently was interested in one of the paintings of the Malang Creative Center building by Deddy Satya and bought this iconic and magnificent work.
